Hall hire features at a glance

• Location: lower end of White Street, Balmain. Close to public transport, readily accessible from Sydney’s CBD and inner city, and with wheelchair access.

• Space: a spacious hall with classic timber ceilings and floors that can comfortably accommodate large gatherings of up to eighty people, as well as an outdoor decked area adjoining Elkington Park and a large, partly covered veranda with unobstructed views over the water. 

• Amenities: fully-equipped with recently installed state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment* (if required) and a large kitchen.

• Disabled access: facilities for people with disabilities include bathrooms, street parking and wheelchair access to the venue 

• Heritage and ambience: One of the oldest rowing clubs in Australia, carefully and lovingly restored. Your event will benefit from a sense of history, laid-back elegance and sophistication.
