At the last working bee Andrew MacNamara, grandson of Gunner Cornelius MacNamara, arrived with a suitcase and treated everyone to a show of rowing trophies and memorabilia from the great war. Andrew was so taken by the club that he returned the following week to hand sand the new staircase (saving the club $1500) in preparation for its final finish. Thank you Andrew.
